The protagonist of Pokemon Y. Son of the famous Rhyhorn racer Grace, Jean-Yves happily snatched up the opportunity to become a Trainer and be known as something, anything other than 'son of Grace'. The fact he was in a new region helped him have time to figure out who he really was and what he aspired to in life. So he put all his effort and work into becoming a good Trainer, making friends along the way, and somehow getting tangled up in fighting a crime syndicate and a crazy man who wanted to destroy the world. It's a long story, but as usual with Pokemon, it's ridiculous. The long and short of it is that Jean-Yves has found his calling in the fighting for Kalos and his travels, the conviction to live for himself and not base everything on trying to impress people. His new ambition is to fill up his Pokedex, train a second team up, and one day, be either a Fairy or Dragon Gym Leader.
